The future king and queen already do their own cooking, cleaning and shopping at the rented cottage where they spend weekends together off the northwest coast of Wales -- and they plan to continue that lifestyle at least until William finishes his three year tour of duty as an RAF search and rescue pilot, the paper said.
However, the couple does have round-the-clock bodyguards protecting their isolated home.
The paper quoted a senior royal source as saying, “It’s very much their instinct to manage on their own.
“Prince William is not into extravagance and, like any other young officer in the armed forces, that is how he chooses to live his life. He and Catherine live without domestic staff and they wouldn’t do it any other way. That’s the life they want to lead.”
