Can't stop thinking about, talking about, spinning about 'Inception'

July 29, 2010 ι Jarett Wieselman

I am by no means a professional film critic -- sure, I can tell you how much I loved a movie, but dissecting it based upon a hundred years of cinematic grandfathers is not my strong suit. But I simply can't stop trying to decipher, unravel and understand "Inception."

It is the most enjoyable experience I've had at the movies since director Christopher Nolan's original mind-bending masterpiece "Memento" -- and this year's most logical (so far) Best Picture Oscar winner.

Recently two "Inception" centric goodies have kicked to the surface, proving I'm clearly not alone in my desire to decode. The first is a ingenious infographic that beautifully breaks down the dream levels our characters find themselves in.

Click here for a bigger, grander, printable version -- suitable for framing!

The second is a very interesting breakdown of the film's most memorable music cue -- and the unexpected inspiration behind it.
