Last night as some friends and I gathered around my bright, shiny boyfriend -- you know, the TV -- we found ourselves falling head over heels in love with Justin Williams. I dubbed him the perfect contestant since he was incredibly talented, had a triumphant cancer-conquering backstory, is way hot, potentially a Mormon and possesses a questionable sexuality. There is literally something for everyone.
That's probably why the "American Idol" producers brought him back. Yes, Justin looked way familiar to us all, which is when we realized he'd been on the show before. Last year, in fact.
Justin was one of the original members in White Chocolate, the Hollywood Week group that also included two guys you might remember named Matt Giraud and Kris Allen. Along with India Morrison, the foursome performed "Want You Back" by the Jackson 5 -- a title that probably perfectly encapsulates the call producers made to Justin prior to this year's auditions.
Here's Justin and White Chocolate performing in season eight followed by his amazing season nine audition.
Who was your favorite contestant last night?
