This season of "The Amazing Race" has been a real nail-biter. Lots of drama (I love when people actually use the Yield!), danger (who knew that cheese hill would be so treacherous?) and close finishes! Last night was another footrace to the mat as the final two teams arrived within minutes of each other.
But who was eliminated? And more importantly, which team do you want to take home the million dollar prize? Let's discuss!

Sadly the unflappable Mike and Mel were cut from the competition last night after being unable to bounce back from a taxi driver's idiotic detour in Thailand. Although, who relies so intensely on a cabbie after seeing every other team drive off in a different direction?
Their elimination leaves only five teams fighting for the finish line -- Tammy & Victor, Luke & Margie, Mike & Mark, Cara & Jaime and Kisha & Jen. To me, sisters Kisha and Jen are lucky to still be around since they've lingered in the bottom for every leg but one. Ditto with Mike and Mark, especially after their sub-par subterfuge last night gifted them with a one hour penalty.

Cara and Jaime are doing an admirable job, but their short fuses and hatred of foreign languages might be their eventual undoing. Tammy and Victor are the most obvious contenders since they are strong, smart and aggressive.
I'm pulling for Margie and Luke to win the 14th "Amazing Race." In the beginning everyone underestimated Luke, seeing as he's deaf. And while Luke does a great job, the true underdog hero of this team is Margie.
She is 51 years old and kicking ass every single week as she outruns people half her age, outsmarts the show's more devious competitors and keeps her cool even while her 23-year-old son loses his.
And on top of all that, she is Luke's only conduit to the outside world in this game since she can sign and Luke doesn't lipread. A fact that was devastatingly hammered home last night when Margie passed out from dehydration on the race mat.
As Luke yelled for help, the fear in his eyes was soul shaking since you knew that he was helpless to assist the woman who is not only the best teammate this season, but the toughest mother to ever compete in the race!
I'm Team Lu-gie. Who are you rooting for?
