Life is good my friends. "The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Duel 2" premiered last night and gave us everything the actual "Real World" continues to lack: sex, fights, backstabbing, blood and boozing, all in just one episode.
The highlight of the hour was the epic clash between "RW: Paris" roomies CT and Adam. Their feud has been bubbling for years and finally came to a head last night when giant wall of man CT thought Adam was talking smack behind his back. So natch CT confronted Adam in the only way he knows how -- yelling, "hit me, do it" complete with signature flinch-inducing head jerk.
Well, Adam hit first and the result is the best fight in the history of "The Challenge." No, "The Real World." Nay, the real world. Why was it so stupendous? Because Adam is wearing a footy pajamas? No, although that does help. What elevates this fight above all the others is that even 15 guys were unable to stop CT in his bid to destroy Adam. The man is, in Evan's oh-so-eloquent words, "a 240-pound Wolverine." Check it out here!
Amazing, right? In my opinion, Adam totally started it. But watching CT fume and destroy a freaking door while everyone and their mother tries to calm him down is poetry in lack-of-motion.
So condolences (or maybe congratulations) are in order to "RW: Seattle" roommate whose bitch slap of Irene is no longer the shows most jaw-dropping fight. Although he still is the series' biggest punk. Followed closely by Adam.
On a somewhat unrelated note, WTF is up with "Duel 2's" opening credits? Watch them (here) and please try to explain to me exactly what the producers had in mind...
