Disney tween Selena Gomez is in Canada shooting her latest project "Romana and Beezus," and boy did she get all bloggy on us today.
Her new film, the first of Beverly Cleary's books on Ramona Quimby and her sister Beezus, is her first non-Disney gig and it seems to be taking her on a teenage roller coaster. She said on her lengthy MySpace blog post today that "going to work on a project that doesn't have disney channel in the title was a little scary for me, there were no disney kids here with me ... was that good? was that bad? ... I've come to the conclusion that its [sic] both."
First, I am a bit surprised Disney let her just mosey off to do a project that isn't theirs. They have a tendency to keep these
robots kids under wraps. Secondly, this Selena chick seems alright with me, very grounded -- maybe she was the Disney black sheep. She ended her rant with a little sentence that confused the mustard outta me, saying, "i really have nothing to complain about or be miserable for."
Girl sounds like a Lifetime movie full of issues. What's going on in Selena's head? Thoughts?
