Common took over an old synagogue in New York's Lower East Side Thursday night. Even though it was C's big show to launch his latest CD 'Universal Mind Control,' guess who quickly jumped on stage to show everyone his latest high-tops and venetian sunglasses ... your pal not mine Kanye West.
After a two-hour delay because of the nightmare of a down-pour, Common took to the stage and launched into 'Go' off his multi-platinum album, 'Be.' Then he moved into some kick-ass dance tracks from 'Mind Control.' After Common wowed the wet yet blazzin' crowd, Mr. West walked onstage to sing his latest single 'Heartless' minus the auto-tuner thank the Lord. Then Kanye went into 'Amazing' then his contrived single 'Paranoid.' West left the stage while 'Love Lockdown' played in the background, bringing the mini-concert to a close.
