KT Tunstall will crash your green room, right Dave Grohl?

July 22, 2010 ι Ryan Brockington

Kate Victoria Tunstall, simply known to the world as KT Tunstall, has shimmered the land with unforgettable pop-rock sounds for over ten years.

Her perfectly fitting “Suddenly I See” laced the opening credits of “The Devil Wears Prada," she raised "American Idol's" McPhever a couple of degrees by lending “Black Horse in a Cherry Tree,” to Katherine McPhee and now (on October 5) KT is gifting us with her third studio album “Tiger Suit.”

The LP will house eleven new songs, all of which are prime for the picking by the pop culture media machine. We're digging the debut single “Push That Knot Away” but are saving all our love for electro-rock laced "Uummannaq Song” and “Glamour Puss" -- the disc's best two tracks. Prepare a whole new sounding KT kiddies!

PopWrap sat down with the Scottish songbird, where we learned who inspired this new sound, what went into making the disc and why Dave Grohl from The Foo Fighters may think she's a little looney tunes.

KT Tunstall’s acoustic performance on SIRIUS XM's The Spectrum will air leading up to the “Tiger Suit” release date, October 5.
