A pair of marriage minded trailers debuted online this morning -- but their attitudes towards "for better or worse" couldn't be more different. First up is "Just Go With It," the latest in a long series of films where Adam Sandler has multiple ladies, all out of his league, fighting for some lovin. Here, Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Dekker are the warring women.
The hook is that Adam's character pretends to be married in order to pick up chicks but when he actually finds "the one" he's got to convince her the fake marriage is going through a fake divorce. Enter his bestie, Dr. Jennifer Aniston (never gonna write that one again).
Also something you might not hear from me for quite some time, this actually looks like a great role for Jennifer Aniston. Approved!
What I can't condone is "Hall Pass," the latest endeavor from "Something About Mary's" Farrelly Brothers. Here, Jason Sudeikis & Owen Wilson play best buds who are so tired of their marriages that their wives (the awesome sauce combo of Jenna Fischer and Christina Applegate) give them a week off, in other words, a "Hall Pass" to cheat.
Sadly they weren't given license to be funny, judging from the sad trailer that can only muster up one decent joke, which comes courtesy of (no shock) Sudeikis' worst pick up line, ever!
