Taylor Swift got the biggest budget (I’m assuming) again for her CMA performance last night, but this time we got ashen snow instead of rain. Oh, and once again Taylor acted like she didn’t know how awesome she is.
Taylor "I can sell over a million copies of my album in a week" Swift performed “Back to December,” off of her newest album “Speak Now” and, well ... I’m getting a little fed up with the cutsey thing Taylor, I really am. Armed with a stage that was right out of some Tim Burton dream — instead of Taylor it would of course be Helena Bonham Carter, but you get my point — and an awesome orchestra, this 3-minute show could have been a huge turning point for you as a young woman.
Instead, you did your same whimpery Snoopy face, played the song sitting down like you’re nervous, and gasped when people actually stood to applaud you. The same people you have been writing for, producing with or singing next to for years.
They aren’t surprised so why are you acting like you’ve just won a talent show.
