Holy bajoolies!! I am about to freak the freak out all over you people!!!!!
OK, now that that's out of the way, you have to listen to this new Beastie Boys track we got our hands on today called "I'm Down." To be fair, we use the word 'new' very loosely, since it's a song that was rumored to be pulled at the last minute from their 1986 album "Licensed to Ill." After it didn't make the cut, the single seemed to vanish from the ether, only living in very rare audio collections.
Then … Blamoo! The lost track finds it's way to the masses — maybe having something to do with the appearance of their Sundance docu-film "Fight For Your Right" this year -- when the guys at WFMY 91.1 streamed it on the "Coffee Break for Heroes & Villains" show.
Shortly thereafter, my head exploded from happiness.
So give the track a listen below, and get ready for an 80's flashback (the acceptable kind kids).
