Annual Sustainable Real Estate Conference
The second annual conference, sponsored by NYU Schack Institute's Center for the Sustainable Built Environment, will explore the growing significance of energy performance and carbon emissions in real estate investment decisions . This conference brings together leaders from the private, public and academic sectors to discuss the emerging debt and equity markets for commercial building energy efficiency, the role of data and information technology in decision making and the need for common performance metrics that cross disciplinary and professional boundaries. 8 am – 4 pm. $95. Lecture Series: Craig Dykers
The Pratt Insitute's School of Architecture hosts architect Craig Dykers who has worked on such projects as the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, Oslo, and the National September 11th Memorial Museum Pavilion at the World Trade Center site . Dykers is co-founder of the architecture, landscape and interior design company Snohetta, which is based in Oslo and has a satellite office in New York. 6 pm.
