LeBron James in England to watch Liverpool-Man United

LIVERPOOL, England -- Miami Heat superstar LeBron James is making the most of his extra time off courtesy of the NBA lockout, traveling to England to watch Liverpool take on Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.

It is his first trip to watch the Reds since he bought a minority stake in Fenway Sports Group, which owns Liverpool, in April, NESN.com reported.

"Just got to Liverpool, England. Riding through the city. What a beautiful place. Home and birthplace of the One and Only 'BEATLES,'" James tweeted Thursday.

He confirmed to ESPN that he was there to watch Liverpool play in the blockbuster clash against the EPL leader.

"Yeah, I'm going for sure." James said. "Wouldn't miss this one. Biggest game in the world, probably."
