Testing the "Tony Awards" cupcake from Georgetown Cupcake

As divided as we were about the Ditto, the taste test of the Tonys cupcake ended in consensus: That thing is delicious!
Considering the cupcake salutes Broadway, it could only be one flavor: red velvet -- just like those seats producers like to sell at sky-high prices.
"They look quite vibrant," Hot Picks editor Billy Heller said, looking down at the box. He finally broke out of his reverie and grabbed a cake. "It's so good, I don't know what to bite down on next. The frosting has a certain tanginess --"
"-- it's cream cheese," explained features reporter Christina Amoroso with the authority of someone who actually bakes. "There's a good frosting-to-cake ratio here."
Arts editor Barbara Hoffman concurred: "It's moist, satisfying, deliciously red."
And so did features reporter Sara Stewart: "The cake is good, and not too rich -- it's light for red velvet. I can't find any problem with this cupcake."
Come on, people, don't you know the Tonys are all about bitter arguments?! At last, the piece of fondant saying "Tony Awards" on top of the frosting was a source of discord. Heller and Stewart didn't care for it, but Amoroso did: "I liked it; it was almost marshmallow-y."
As for me, I gulped it down without a second thought, but that's because I eat Broadway for breakfast.
