Thanks to a math error by a sixth-century monk named Dennis the Small, Jesus may be as many as six years older than previously thought, Pope Benedict XVI says in a new book.
In “Jesus of Nazareth: The Infancy Narratives,” the pontiff says the Christian calendar is in error because the monk bungled his calculations when he invented the concept of the Anno Domini era.
