Well-meaning rabbit owners are putting their pets at risk — by feeding them too many carrots, says a new study.
Unlike Bugs Bunny, real rabbits do not naturally eat root vegetables or fruit, says the University of Bristol study. Rabbits should be fed hay, grass and dark greens, including cabbage, the British researchers said, or they risk tooth decay and other health problems.
