Cops are beefing up patrols with mobile units and floodlights in waterlogged Breezy Point after a spate of burglaries — including at least three over the Thanksgiving holiday.
“Hopefully, it will deter people who don’t belong to the community from the idea [of looting],” said resident Anthony Feller, 36, an account manager.
“The more presence the police can give us, the safer . . . the community will feel.”
