Manhattan cop busted for shoplifting on Black Friday

A police officer was arrested for allegedly finding the best Black Friday deal in town — a five finger discount.
Jenny Mendez, 28, of the Midtown North Precinct was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property after she allegedly shoplifted from a Midtown Manhattan store yesterday. The value of the stolen garments and location of the store was not released.
Cops said Mendez has been suspended without pay.
