Weed Head is flying high.
Jamaican-born panhandler Antonio Laird says that since he was featured in a recent Post story on the city’s most creative beggars, his life has taken a 420-degree turn.
“So many people come up to me for my autograph — and I’m not even Justin Bieber!” he said.
Laird, 29, claims he got an offer for a reality-TV show focused on his high life, had an interview posted on YouTube and is about to start hawking $20 “Weed Head” T-shirts through his own Web site.
His pipe dream has become a reality.
“People come up to me all the time and call me a star,” said Laird, who transforms himself into Weed Head by wearing a cardboard box adorned with pictures of marijuana on his head.
His newly created Facebook page boasts about 50 adoring followers.
“Of everyone I’ve seen in NY, you were the best,” writes one pal.
The unemployed Manhattan chef said he makes about $200 a day having his picture taken with fans.
“Some people put weed in my hand — but I’d rather it be cash.”
Laird said his short-term goal is to spark interest in the Weed Head brand.
“My slogan is: ‘Smoking weed makes the world a better place.’ ”
