Tiger Woods is now prowling the Big Apple.
Just days after finalizing his divorce, Woods moved into a downtown Manhattan apartment during the weekend, when he also was playing in a tournament just across the Hudson River in Paramus, NJ.
Woods was “introducing himself as the new neighbor,” a source told Us magazine, which didn’t name the building.
Woods’ divorce from Elin Nordegren was official last week, nine months after the golf great was exposed as a sleazy serial adulterer. She reportedly netted nearly $100 million of Woods’ estimated $500 million to $600 million in assets and cash.
The pair agreed to a "shared parenting" arrangement for their 3-year-old daughter, Sam, and 1-year-old son, Charlie.
As he prepared for the Jersey tournament last week Woods griped that it was difficult to concentrate on his swing while the media and his fans focused on his swinging lifestyle.
Now that his personal soap opera is in its last act, he's doing his best to resurrect his career.
"I'm trying to get, obviously, my game in order," Woods, in a massive understatement, told reporters after a practice round in for The Barclays tournament.
Woods tied for 12th at The Barclays, his best finish since June.
Nordegren broke her silence last week to tell the world that the superstar golfer managed to bed a bevy of busty young women without her ever knowing it during years of marriage.
"I'm so embarrassed that I never suspected -- not a one," Nordegren said in an exclusive interview with People magazine.
She is considering spending some of her $65 million settlement to set up a clinic providing mental-health counseling to underprivileged families in Florida, according the Sunday Times of London.
