WASHINGTON — Hold your horses!
Democrats apologized yesterday for a sarcastic campaign ad that used Ann Romney’s Olympic horse, Rafalca, to mock her husband.
The ad showed the “dancing horse” prancing in dressage competition and accused Mitt Romney of “dancing around the issues” like the release of his tax returns.
“Our use of the Romneys’ dressage horse was not meant to offend Mrs. Romney in any way, and we regret it if it did,” said a Dem spokesman.
