Elton John played a private gig for the world’s most high-powered “Mad Men” at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Tuesday night. He reeled off hits at a VIP bash thrown by Clear Channel and MediaLink at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The fun continued on a Clear Channel yacht, where guests included Bob Pittman and John Sykes, WPP’s Sir Martin Sorrell and Interpublic’s Michael Roth. Also in Cannes were Selena Gomez and Twitter’s Jack Dorsey, named Media Person of the Year.
