Mitt Romney seems to have been almost as generous as his donors during a fund-raising trip to the wealthy neighborhoods of Long Island on Thursday evening. We’re told the Republican former Massachusetts governor generously tipped the Elegant Affairs dishwashers and servers at the event at the home of hedge-funder Lee Ainslie, which was attended by power players including New York Republican State Committee Chairman Ed Cox and Rep. Peter King. One source said, “Romney left a tip of around $2,000 that was shared between 20 people.” But his tip was shy of the $10,000 attendees paid for a photo with Romney, who then went on to the home of investment banker Robert Rosenthal.
