Indie flick shows club Marquee as it used to be

For those who want to reminisce about club Marquee before its multimillion-dollar overhaul, you can see it in the indie horror flick “Girls Against Boys,” which debuted at SXSW and will be in theaters this weekend. The club scenes were shot at the Chelsea hot spot before Strategic Group’s Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss revamped the venue, which reopened on Jan. 16. In the film, Danielle Panabaker and Nicole LaLiberte tend bar at Marquee and, after being wronged by a string of Manhattan men, take revenge. Producers Clay Floren and Aimee Shieh host a post-screening party at the club tomorrow.
