The penguins weren’t the only ones in formal wear at the Central Park Zoo Thursday night. Socialites mingled with sea life and enjoyed a swank evening under the stars during the Wildlife Conservation Society gala The Coasts of Patagonia. Cindy Sherman, Tinsley Mortimer, Prince Lorenzo Borghese and others dined with a view of the sea lion tank as Dr. Juan Carlos Castilla and Dr. Steven E. Sanderson were honored for their conservation efforts. Guests took advantage of the open bar and danced to the sounds of DJ Cassidy near the monkey habitat during the after-party. Others tried to sneak into the penguin house but found the door locked before heading en masse to Upper East Side staple Dorrian’s.
