Erin Andrews — the sexy sideline reporter and “Dancing With the Stars” contestant who was famously victimized by a hotel peeping Tom — is leaving ESPN after failing to come to terms over a new contract. Network rep Josh Krulewitz confirmed the split via Twitter yesterday, posting, “Erin Andrews leaving ESPN.” He then added: “She did great work for us and we made an aggressive offer to keep her. We wish her the best on her next chapter.” Andrews was victimized by a hotel voyeur who snapped nude shots of her and posted them online. In 2008, Michael David Barrett stalked Andrews and filmed her through peepholes at a Nashville Marriott and a Radisson in Milwaukee. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Andrews went on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” and is a staple of ESPN’s college basketball and football coverage. She negotiated her last contract two years ago, and it’s over this month. FOX Sports, which has signed deals with the Big 12 and Pac 12 in recent years, is reportedly aggressively pursuing her. It also owns the Big 10 Network.
