The Long Island Rail Road is bracing for a stampede from Belmont Park this weekend.
"We're expecting record crowds," a spokesman said.
With 18 trains on hand to run from Penn Station between 9:59 a.m. and 4:16 p.m., getting there should be a breeze. The LIRR will run frequent service from the track between 3:59 p.m. and 9 p.m.
"We will not leave without you on the return trip," said LIRR President Helena Williams. "There's plenty of time to make your train at the end of the race."
The LIRR will enforce a booze-free policy on board.
