The New York Racing Association announced yesterday that it had entered into an exclusive three-year partnership with The Post that will bring thoroughbred racing fans the best coverage of Belmont, Saratoga and Aqueduct.

"We think the New York Post is the best sports paper in the city, and has far and away the best horse racing coverage, not just for New York, but for the Northeast," NYRA president Charles Hayward said. "We're thrilled to be a part of the most extensive and best coverage of New York horse racing."

Post publisher Paul Carlucci said he was equally pleased with the announcement.

"We couldn't be more excited with this new deal," Carlucci said. "We're really the top New York, and national newspaper for New York racing. This really establishes and cements the relationship we've had."
