Amy Winehouse's father, who had told a British newspaper his daughter had emphysema, overstated her medical condition, the singer's publicist said yesterday.
"She is not diagnosed with full-blown emphysema, but instead has early signs of what could lead to emphysema," publicist Tracey Miller said, adding that Mitch Winehouse had misspoken "out of concern" for his 24-year-old daughter.
