The Brooklyn Heights restaurateur busted on charges he ran thousands of dollars in bogus credit-card transactions may have ripped off many more victims, prosecutors said yesterday.
"It appears there are links to several hundred other possible victims," said Assistant DA Wilfredo Cotto.
The alleged scammer, Daniel Kaufman, 34, a one-third owner of Oven, the Blue Pig, Wine Bar and two locations of Busy Chef, was ordered held on $50,000 bail following his arraignment on multiple counts of identity theft and grand larceny.
