Out and about . . . "So You Think You Can Dance" judge Mary Murphy will be in Times Square today at noon to promote a new DVD exer cise program called Core Rhythms.

Kelly Ripa, Lor raine Bracco, Joy Behar, Kelsey Grammer and Molly Sims, meanwhile, are ex pected at Saturday's Hamp tons fundraiser at Nova's Ark Project in Water Mill. The "Super Saturday" event bene fits the Ovarian Cancer Re search Fund.

Speaking of which, 1050 ESPN listeners here in New York helped raise over $31,000 last Wednesday dur ing the station's annual radio thon to benefit the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Re search.

Nickelodeon's "Avatar: The Last Airbender," ended its third season in style last Sat urday, snaring 5.6 million viewers - the week's top- rated basic-cable telecast. The two-hour season finale, "Sozin's Comet," also scored record series numbers in kids 6-11 and tweens. The "Avatar" universe, which has a huge online presence, has been abuzz since it was announced that M. Night Shyamalan will direct the live-action big- screen "Avatar" movie, due out in 2010 (no casting yet).

Last, but not least:

* Bob Papa will host "Gi ants GameDay" every Satur day (7 p.m./Ch. 4) during the football season starting Sept. 6. The show will air for 17 weeks.

* Derek Jeter stops by to day's "Happy Hour" (5 p.m./ Fox Business Network).

* That was Carson Kres sley ("How To Look Good Naked") at Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami.

* Happy birthday to Linda Lipman (LB Lipman PR).
