FALL is back-to-school time for kids, but for music fans it's back-to-show time, with all the biggest and best bands making their way to Skyscraper Park to rock your socks off. Here are the shows you won't want to miss:
RANDY NEWMAN
Sept. 19 at Carnegie Hall
The guy who gave us "Sail Away" and dozens of politically charged satirical songs is back making records, and he's just released his first album in a decade called "Harps and Angels." Newman will celebrate that new record - as well as the rest of his songbook - with a one-man show at Carnegie Hall.

MOTORHEAD
Sept. 20 at Roseland Ballroom
Lemmy Kilmister may prefer to refer to his band's music as plain ol' rock 'n' roll, but he's not fooling anyone. Motorhead has always been the lynchpin of the new wave of British heavy metal, after bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin simmered down. And he - along with current bandmates Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee - will be invading our shores with the speedy riffs and sonic roar of their newly released 20th album "Motorizer," which will whip multiple generations of fans into a frenzy in no time.
WEEZER
Sept. 24 at Madison Square Garden
